There is no ban on the release of Indian 2.. Madurai District Court orders action! - indian 2 release

Indian 2: The Madurai District Law Court dismissed the case filed by Varma Kala chief teacher Rajendran seeking a ban on the release of Indian 2.

Madurai: A case filed by Madurai-based Vermakalai chief teacher Asan Rajendran to ban the release of Indian 2 film was heard in Madurai District 4th Additional Rights Court before Judge Selva Maheshwari as Vermakalai trademark was used with permission in Indian 1 and Indian 2 without permission.

Advocates appeared on behalf of Varmakalai chief teacher Rajendran, director Shankar, actor Kamal Haasan and producer Subhashkaran. Counsel for the petitioner argued, "Indian 1 has used the Vermakalai mark with our permission. Indian 2 has used the Vermakalai mark without our permission.

In Indian 1, Rajendran's name was put on the title card. Rajendran's name should be put on the title card of Indian 2. Petitioner Rajendran has been practicing Varmakala for 50 years. Varmakala chief teacher Rajendran personally participated in the shooting of Indian 1. Rajendran has written 2 books on Varmakala in 1993 and 1994. "Indian 1 scenes are adapted from the information in the book," he said.

Director Shankar's lawyer argued, "Verma is a world-class art. It was created by Agastya. No one can lay claim to Verma. Like karate and kung fu, Verma has spread all over the world.

Indian 1 Rajendran gave only information on Varmakala. Indian 2 did not embrace Varmakalai. Indian 2 is an anti-corruption film. The announcements about the movie Indian 2 were announced last year 2017. Petitioner Rajendran has filed a case in 2024.

Indian 2 film will trade to the tune of Rs.1,000 crore. Thousands of filmmakers are working day and night for Indian 2. The court should take note of that. There is no merit in the case seeking to ban Indian 2. Therefore, the case should be dismissed. Ticket sales for Indian 2 are going on all over the world. "If Indian 2 is banned, law and order may arise," he said.

Advocate for producer Subhashkaran argued, "Petitioner Rajendran has nothing to do with the film Indian 2. This court should not hear the commercial issues related to the film. The District High Courts that hear commercial cases should hear it."

Indian 2 movie is ready for release. On what basis should petitioner Rajendran's name appear in the movie Indian 2? The case should be heard in a commercial court. Therefore, the court should dismiss the case. The petitioner has filed a case against the provisions of the Act.

The petitioner has filed the case at the last moment knowing the release date of Indian 2. Ilayaraja sued over the songs. In that case, he will be clear about the rights of the songs. However, Rajendran did not say on what basis he is claiming the right," he said.

Speaking on behalf of actor Kamal Haasan, the lawyer said, "Kamal Haasan has used the stamps of Varmakalai given by Agathiyar. Actor Kamal Haasan and Rajendran have not entered into any agreement. This case should be heard in Chennai."

Varmakala chief teacher Madurai Rajendran's defense counsel again said, "Our stamps have been used in the film Indian 2. We have not told the court where the details of the stamps used in the film Indian 2 were taken from, only the stamps in the books have been used in the film Indian 2."

After hearing these arguments, the judge gave judgment in this case. It said, "There is no ban on the release of Indian 2. The case filed by Vermakalai Aasan Madurai Rajendran seeking a ban on the release of Indian 2 is dismissed. Madurai District 4th Additional Rights Court judge Selva Maheshwari ruled that the court rejects the plea of production company Lyca Productions.

Director Shankar's lawyer Sai Kumaran said, "Indian 2 is going to be released as planned. We are happy that the court has dismissed the case seeking a ban on the release of Indian 2. We are going to file a case for damages against the petitioner Rajendran who filed a case against us by giving false information to the court. Director After consulting with Shankar, a case for damages will be filed in the court," he said.

Advocate Prabhu, representing petitioner Varmakala chief teacher Rajendran, said, "We have filed a case with 14 kinds of documents. We will appeal in the High Court."
